5 Signs that it's time.

Poor windows can cause up to 75% of heat loss during the winter, not to mention uncomfortable drafts, water damage and mold.

Here are 5 tell-tale signs that it's time to replace your windows.

1. One or more of your windows develop ice or a frosty glaze on the inside, typically caused by poor ventilation or insufficient insulation.
2. When you sit near a window your feel a cold draft in the winter or a warm draft during the summer. This is a clear sign of poor insulation, which significantly increases your energy bills.
3. A lit candle held near your window's edge flickers or goes out. It's a good sign that your weather stripping is in need of replacement.
4. You have to prop your window open with a stick ? your windows are at the end of their functional life.
5. You've tried cleaning the inside and outside of your window, but the fog is still there! That means the window seal has probably failed allowing condensation in between the glass.
