In The Community
Quality Home Improvements is extremely proud to support a number of charities throughout the Lower Mainland. Our biggest fundraiser is the Surrey Christmas Bureau – a yearly event where Quality Home staff and family members work together to raise upwards of $35,000 and come together to assemble food and toy hampers for over 40 Surrey families and more than 100 kids. After 15 years of support, QHI has become the largest single provider of hampers in Surrey.
Quality Home Improvements staff and friends have participated in the Langley Relay for Life. With extensive fundraising, we were able to raise over $9000 for the Canadian Cancer Society's Lymphoma Fund.
With their sister company Quality Program Services, QHI has also been involved in the REnEW (Residential Energy Efficiency Works) training program. Founded by Fortis BC and supported by BC Hydro, this program works with community groups throughout BC, providing them with the education, skills and self-confidence to work in the emerging energy efficiency sector.
Tom and rest of the QHI team have also been long time supporters of grass-roots community athletics, and their relationship with the New Westminster Salmonbellies goes back decades.
