Many window frames only have 4-5 chambers. When comparing windows ask the company how many chambers are in the frames of the windows you're considering. Many windows do not have steel reinforcing which adds security to your home. Small windows do not need reinfocing, however any window frame over 2 feet should have steel reinforcing for added strength and security. Vinyltek Windows installed by QHI all feature steel reinforcing if they are over 2 feet.

Cleaning windows is no fun, so the easier it is the better! Check the track where the window slides. Tracks without grooves and bars to slide on are much more difficult to clean than flat tracks. Cleaning the outside of the windows is also usually a challenge and almost always involves a ladder.
