In 2004 we had Vinyltek windows installed and everything Quality Home promised about them has come true. The house is much more comfortable in all seasons, and we've seen a difference in our heating bills too.

I had meant to send this to you awhile ago, however, I cannot tell you what, not only a fantastic job your fellows did- under, what I might add, were the most horrible of circumstances- snow, cold biting winds and rain- you get some of the picture! I honestly thought they would have to cancel as our driveway was full of snow,and being in the class of the elderly[in our 70's] and also me trying to get over the last of the flu, and my husband sick in bed after leg surgery, I'm afraid I was very limited in preparing things to make a bad situation less complicated.
These guys not only were on time, they went to extreme measures to clear the driveway and I couldnt believe how fast, efficient, courteous to the max [I couldnt believe they even removed their shoes each time they entered our house!!] They must have only stopped a maximum of what seemed like 15 minutes or so to grab a bite to eat [and basically thaw-out from the biting wet cold]. I dont know how they were able to not fall off the icy ladders and not to mention the bushes that they had to contend with plus icy wet stones of the landscaping in the front of the house, and very deep snow at the rear.
Not only did the windows turn out to be far nicer than we expected, but your company are to be plauded for the incredible teamwork of guys that showed up that day [and yes- could not believe that all this was completed within hours - 17 windows in all] and finally, like the icing on a cake- they cleaned up every bit of mess before bidding us a very cheery farewell..It was an absolute pleasure doing business with you all.
Before I close, I must not forget the person who first came to us and spent time explaining in utmost detail everything we needed to know, ...thankyou Ray Vasavant, you did your job very professionally and well, and its nice to know we still have guys like you around that do their homework and that stand by what they say.

"I just received a $100 cheque from you and must say that I am very pleasantly surprised as I did not know that Quality Home Energy Improvements pays for referrals!
In Spring 2006, Quality Home Improvements installed new windows, a patio sliding door, a French door, Furnace, Attic Ventilation and Insulation in my home. I was told that this would all be done in one day and having had some construction experience, I scheduled myself to be at home for at least three days as I did not believe it could be done in one day.
I was so stunned when your crew arrived on time, on the scheduled day and all of the work was completed in one day as promised! Your entire crew were very friendly, professional and did not leave any mess behind. I was so stunned and very, very impressed! I still love the improvements, particularly my windows and screens as my home is warm and very comfortable!
There are so many things that can go wrong when you're doing home improvements, particularly when you don't really know how credible a Company is. I have told many people about the excellent service your Company provides and how very happy I am with my home improvements. In particular, I wanted my niece to contact you for her home improvements as she means a lot to me and I did not want her to have a bad experience. "We have lived in our house for thirty years and have frequently talked about
getting insulated windows. The house was always drafty; the windows shook on
rainy days; we could hear lots of outside noises and we were always turning
up the furnace. However, the idea of getting our windows updated always
seemed to get shelved. Finally, we made the decision and called you.
Within days, you gave us an estimate and explained how the government grant
worked. You sent an employee over to measure up our windows. We were going
to get all the windows done, except for two, which had been done when we had
an addition put on the house. However, your employee told us the overall
look of the house would be much better, if all windows were done. We took
his advice. Fortunately we did because the Vinlytec windows, which your
crew installed, were far superior to the ones we had done years ago. Our
insullation date was set for Oct 20. The crew arrived on time and so did
the rain. It wa s coming down in buckets. I was thinking that your
workmen were going to have a terrible day in the rain. However the rain
abated and your employees got busy. They skillfully took out the old
windows and replaced them with the new Vinyltek ones. The newly installed
windows were stripped of their plastic coating and polished till they
glistened. One of your employees and this amazing vacuum cleaner, that
looked like R2DT from Star Wars, skillfully cleaned up each room. The whole
job was finished in one day and when your crew left, it was hard to believe
that they had even been in the house. Everything looked as before, except
for the brand new windows. Your employees did a fantastic job!!!!!! They
were friendly, efficient, thorough and professional. Tom, I would have no
hestitation in recommending your company to family and friends.
A few days after the windows were done, everytime I went for a walk or a
bike ride, I would look at the window of houses in the neighbourhood. Some
were insulated; some weren\'t. I used to think that all insulated windows
would look the same, but I was wrong. I could tell which ones were well
done and which ones weren\'t. The Vinyltek windows are far more
professional-looking and seem to have an extra border that several other
insulated windows do not have. Vinyltek windows have three locks on the
larger windows, safety locks and screens. They are useful, energy-efficient
and attractive-looking windows.
We are happy that we chose your company to make this improvement in our
home, not just for resale value, but for the comfort and asthetic look it
has given our home. It has made our home look newer and more
professionally-finished, both inside and out. We wish we had made the
decision to do this improvement years ago. Our thanks to you, Tom, and your
employees for a five-star professional installation job and to Vinlytek for
providing a quality product."
